Rob Souriall — Founder, Curious BRIDGE
Stay Curious. Build Bridges.
I've Spent My Life Building Bridges.
I just didn't realize that's what I was doing.
It started with a KISS "Destroyer" vinyl record at ten years old, my first guitar at thirteen, a mismatched group of friends all from different walks of life in junior high, and playing in bands through my high school years. I was building metaphorical bridges — connecting people — all along. I started college with plans of becoming an architect. I had always been into art, design, drafting, technical drawing and building things growing up. My whole family assumed I was going to be an architect. Instead, I gave it all up to chase the dream of music.
Ironically, I did become an architect — just not of buildings. A classified ad in Music Connection magazine led to my first job in the music industry, working for a successful radio promotion executive, who taught me the discipline that would define my career: get people on the phone, earn trust, communicate with authenticity, and build relationships that last longer than any single deal.
That lesson carried me into entertainment media partnerships, then into a phone call that changed everything — an invitation to build partnerships from inside a record label. My friend said I'd either forge my own path or wash out after a year. I didn't wash out. I stayed twenty-eight years, first at Hollywood Records/Disney Music Group and later at Universal Music Group, building partnerships between Fortune 500 brands, globally recognized artists, film soundtracks, retailers, and live concert events.
"The architect I've become doesn't design buildings. He builds bridges."
Every one of those partnerships taught me the same thing: the deal was never the point. Trust was. Listening before speaking. Learning before recommending. Understanding what mattered most to everyone at the table before ever proposing a solution.
Curious BRIDGE is what happens when three decades of that discipline become a company. Not an agency built to sell introductions — a partner built to create relationships that are still working long after the ink is dry.
